When we started last year, we were just a discussion group of three bike-commuters and a handful of cycling advocates (without bikes)meeting once a week to discuss Illich and Gorz. Now, look at us: we've grown in number, with lots of cyclists (bike-commuters, sports cyclists, week-end riders and bike fanatics young and old, jologs and burgis alike) as members. Yesterday, our newly elected officers were inducted by the City Vice Mayor and ten more cyclists joined us. Way to go, bro & sis! But we need to pedal more before we can really say that a bike revolution is happening on the streets of Surigao. LONG LIVE BIKERS!
